With a total budget of 4,500,000 euros, the call supports the promotion of energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy in the Region of Murcia.
It is a call that has as main objectives the promotion of employment in renewable energies, as well as the promotion of energy saving and efficiency in the industrial and tertiary sector.
The beneficiary companies are those belonging to the industrial or tertiary sector that have their operational work center in the Region of Murcia, submitting a project cataloged in one of the following areas:
– Energy audits: evaluation of opportunities to reduce the amount of energy consumed while maintaining production or service provided.
– Renovation of equipment and installations: replacement of equipment, installations and consuming energy systems.
– Improvement of the energy efficiency in production processes: replacement or reform of production facilities or systems, implementation of measurement systems and management of energy consumption.
– Promotion of final energy generation and self-consumption: execution of energy generation projects at the point of consumption.
The amounts are co-financed through non-repayable grants from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in the Region of Murcia, with a co-financing rate of 80%. The budgetary allocations for the aforementioned objectives will be of 2,500,000 euros to advance in the evaluation and improvement of the energy efficiency of the companies, and 2,000,000 euros destined to promote the use of renewable energy by companies.
