Publication of the bases Challenges R+D – Region of Murcia

Recently the bases of the Program of aids for the development on the part of the companies of the Region of Murcia of projects in cooperation of technological character have been published, with the objective of establishing a clear competitive improvement of the same ones by means of actions of industrial investigation and experimental development. The aid may reach a maximum of 150,000 euros per beneficiary and a maximum of 300,000 euros per project, with varying intensities, between 40 and 60% depending on the type of applicant organization. The aid may reach a maximum of 150,000 euros per beneficiary and a maximum of 300,000 euros per project, with varying intensities, between 40 and 60% depending on the type of applicant organization.

EuroVértice has a Financing Department and specialises in Innovation through which it supports companies to achieve their development through financing at European, national and also regional level, as in this case.

The areas that will finance the aid are divided into the following:

Industrial research: includes planned research or critical investigation aimed at acquiring new knowledge and skills which may be useful for developing new processes, products or services which can significantly improve existing ones, includes the creation of components of complex systems and may include the construction of prototypes in a laboratory environment or in an environment with simulated interfaces with existing systems, as well as pilot lines, where necessary for industrial research and in particular for generic technology validation.

Experimental development: includes the acquisition, combination, configuration and use of existing scientific, technological, business or other knowledge and skills with a view to the preparation of plans and structures or designs for new, modified or improved products, processes or services. Activities may include the elaboration of projects, designs, plans and other types of documentation provided that it is not intended for commercial use. The development of prototypes and pilot projects that can be used for commercial purposes will also be included if the prototype is necessarily the final commercial product and it is too costly to produce for use for demonstration and validation purposes only. Experimental development does not include routine or periodic modifications made to products, production lines, manufacturing processes, existing services and other ongoing operations, even though such modifications may represent improvements.

The subject matter of the project should be framed within one of the areas of the RIS3 Intelligent Specialization Strategy:

  1. Agrifood chain.
  2. Environment and water cycle.
  3. Logistics and Transport.
  4. Habitat.
  5. Health, Biomedicine and well-being.
  6. Tourism.
  7. Maritime and Marine.
  8. Energy.
  9. Key enabling technologies (ICTs, biotechnology, new material and manufacturing technologies, photonics and chemical technologies).
